Complete – add water only

| CMC Devil's Food Cake Mix | 5 lb | 25 lb | 50 lb |
| Vegetable Oil | 1¼ cups (8.75 oz) | 6¼ cups (2 lb 12 oz) | 12½ cups (5 lb 8 oz) |
| Cold Water | 1½ cups (12 oz) | 7½ cups (3 lb 12 oz) | 3¾ quarts (7 lb 8 oz) |
| INSTRUCTIONS | |
| 1 | Use a mixer with paddle attachment. |
| 2 | Add Devil's Food Cake Mix and vegetable oil into mixing bowl. |
| 3 | Blend on low speed* for 1 minute. |
| 4 | Stop mixer. Scrape bowl and paddle. |
| 5 | Pour cold water into mixing bowl. |
| 6 | Blend on low speed* for 1 more minute. |
| 7 | Scale onto greased or paper-lined pan. |
| 8 | Bake according to the table below: |
